12 Days of Santa’s Insurance – Day 12

By December 23, 2019June 9th, 2020Insurance

Slippery surfaces and scaling rooftops come with their fair share of injury risk…. And since Santa’s North Pole residence is one where severe ice and snow is a weather norm, rather than exception, he would be wise to get disability insurance – just in case.

Despite his advanced age, Santa is a spry guy. He is off the charts on longevity tables, and as far as we know, he has made toys, climbed roofs, and squeezed down chimneys for centuries without incident. But in order to keep his operation running in good form, he must face the business. One stray toy, icy walkway, or poorly kept roof could lead to an injury that takes him out of the game for few weeks. Not so merry at Christmas time!

If Santa has an accident, his trusty elves are sure to take over all necessary procedures to keep the North Pole toy business moving, but a disability policy would provide some income for Santa if unable to perform any work. It would also provide the peace of mind necessary for Santa to properly relax and recover.

Rest easy Santa, we’ve got your back.
